Reviews policy
Last updated:
This document describes how we handle reviews — other people's and our own — in the ranking of Kraków children's dental clinics.
We do not collect reviews of clinics
The site does not gather patient reviews of the clinics described. There is no "leave a review about this clinic" form and we do not plan to add one. The reason is practical: reviews collected by a site that also compiles a ranking are hard to verify and easy to skew in either direction.
How we present other people's ratings
- A rating is always given together with the name of the service, the number of reviews and the date — for example, "4.8/5 · 694 Google reviews (per kliniki.pl as of 10.08.2026)".
- We do not merge ratings from different services into one average of our own.
- We do not present other people's ratings as our own structured data. A Google rating is third-party
data, and on the page it stays plain text with its source named; we do not put it into the site's
aggregateRatingmarkup. - We do not quote individual patient reviews of clinics.
The number of reviews matters
An average without a sample size is misleading. A rating of 5.0 from 39 reviews says less than 4.5 from 505, even though it looks better. That is why we always give the review count next to the average, and note in the clinic's card when the sample is small.
Clinics with no independent rating
Where a clinic's reputation rests solely on reviews it has gathered itself, we say so plainly — as an absence of any way to verify it, not as a complaint about the quality of treatment. The reader should know what cannot be checked.
Reviews of the selection itself
We do collect reviews of the selection — whether it helped you choose, what was missing, what turned out to be out of date. These are the only reviews the site is entitled to gather and publish itself, because they concern our own work rather than somebody else's clinic.
Rules we do not depart from:
- we publish only genuine messages from readers — the editorial team does not write reviews of itself or commission them;
- we publish only after explicit consent, given in the form;
- we publish the name or nickname and city exactly as the author gave them — we do not add surnames, photographs or locations of our own;
- we do not change the text of a review beyond correcting obvious typos;
- we do not delete critical reviews for being critical; we delete only abusive text, third parties' personal data and descriptions of a child's health;
- an author can ask for their review to be removed at any time — an email is enough.
Until we have a single genuine review, the section stays empty — and says so on the page. An empty section is more honest than one filled with text nobody wrote.
The form does not collect reviews of clinics, even if somebody types one into the text box. We do not publish those, because we have no way to verify them.
