Editorial policy

Last updated:

This document sets out who compiles the ranking of Kraków children's dental clinics, where the data comes from and what we do when it goes out of date. It takes precedence over the site's other policies.

Who is responsible for the content

The ranking of Kraków children's dental clinics was compiled, written and edited by Agnieszka Nowak, the site's editor. She is not a practising dentist and does not present herself as one — the material describes how available and how transparent the service is, not its medical side.

We sign the text with the name of the person who actually prepared it, and we do not invent expert profiles. We do not credit the author with education, experience or specialisations she does not have: her competence here is to gather and verify data, and that is exactly what the "Who put this selection together" section on the home page describes. If the material is ever reviewed on the substance by a dentist, we will give their name and professional registration number — separately and explicitly, as a review rather than as authorship.

Where the data comes from

  • the official websites of the clinics described — scope of services, dentists, opening hours, contacts;
  • the price lists the clinics publish themselves — every figure in the ranking comes from there;
  • public review summaries (including kliniki.pl, porownajdentyste.pl, ZnanyLekarz.pl) — always with the service, the rating and the number of reviews stated;
  • public institutional data, including the National Health Fund (NFZ).

We do not use material supplied by clinics for promotional purposes, and we do not publish text written by the clinics themselves.

Rules we do not break

  • Every figure has a source. A price, a rating, a review count, years of experience — if the source cannot be named, the figure is not published.
  • Missing data is labelled as missing. We do not estimate, round or fill gaps with a plausible-looking value.
  • We do not invent patient reviews. We do not publish quotations that cannot be traced to a specific publicly available source.
  • We do not attribute negative events to clinics without naming a source. We write about what a clinic does not offer or does not publish, not about what it supposedly did badly.
  • We do not assess the quality of treatment. We assess the scope of the service, its availability and the transparency of the information.

Advertising

The site sells no advertising. There are no paid positions in the ranking, no sponsored material, no affiliate links and no commercial arrangements with the clinics described. Links to clinic websites are ordinary external links, provided for the reader's convenience.

Health, money and responsibility (YMYL)

Children's dentistry is a subject where wrong information can cause real harm. We therefore give no treatment recommendations, promise no outcomes, make no diagnoses and do not claim that choosing a clinic from a ranking replaces seeing a dentist. Decisions about treating a child — especially under sedation or general anaesthesia — are made with a clinician, not from an online list.

Corrections and updates

Prices and ratings change. Each edition of the selection states the date the data was collected. If you spot an inaccuracy — whether you are a reader or represent a clinic described here — write to kontakt@najlepsza-stomatologia-dziecieca-krakow.pl. We check the report against the source, correct the error and note the date of the change in the updates section on the home page. We do not remove a clinic from the selection at its own request where the data describing it is accurate and taken from public sources — but we do remove anything we cannot confirm.
